The 1st "3AI" was held in La Louvière in Belgium on 27-28 April 2023 and organized by Transculutures (Centre of digital and sound arts, Belgium) and CiTU-Paragraphe (University Paris 8, France). The 2d 3AI share nearly the same topics of the 1st symposium. It observes that "artistic creations" are subject to increasingly intelligent digital practices (mainly influenced by generative AI), infiltrating to the very heart of the design of the art works themselves. This fact questions not only the very notion of "Art", “artist" and "artistic approach", but also the way in which they are discovered, exchanged, collected and preserved. Digital tools, which are increasingly sophisticated, provoke deep philosophical questions and permanent upheavals in artistic, cultural, economic, political and professional practices which seem irreversible in the very functioning of our societies. Today emergent technology never stop, making us discover new forms of Art issued from based on: - the incorporation of robotics into art, either in the process of creation (robots creating art) or as an integral part of the artwork (interactive robotic installations). - the consideration of open and big data visualization. - the ecological concerns in which art forms often use sustainable materials and technology to raise awareness about environmental issues. - the Bio mania, this field involves the use of biotechnology and living organisms, such as cells, bacteria, or plants, in artistic practice. It often explores the ethical, social, and aesthetic implications of biotechnology. The 2d 3AI Symposium should contribute to discuss various more or less implicit doubts about "What makes Art today ?" on the first hand and about contexts and environments of "artistic creations" on the second hand. Artists, artistic instrument (intelligent, extended, augmented & virtual ones included) designers & producers, critics, collectors, spectators, researchers and policy makers are all invited to be part of presentations (conference, exhibition, podcast, video, installation, ...) and discussions (round tables, social networks, ...).
