Ecole d'Eté des Houches: The New Mechanics

This 4-weeks Summer School will cover the use of ultra-sensitive mechanical measurement in a variety of science topics. One of its major aims is to put in perspective the very large span of those newly available systems and technology to scientific problems that seem to be out of the reach of opto-electromechanics. The school will cover a range of applications, from statistical physics to superfluid Helium with the intend to create novel opportunities and ultimately contribute to scientific and technological renewal.
