Following the success of the 10 previous editions from 2010 to 2019, NGSCES2021 will continue providing the interdisciplinary forum for promising young scientists to openly discuss the most recent breakthroughs in correlated systems and material science. The major topics include: * Out of equilibrium many-body dynamics * Advanced spectroscopies in correlated systems * Numerical approaches to correlated systems * Topological and unconventional superconductivity * Criticality and topology in correlated systems * Charge and spin-ordering phenomena * Quantum simulations of many-body systems * Free-electron-laser based spectroscopies With the very recent advances in mind, this year we want to put the special emphasis on the use of quantum simulators and quantum annealers to tackle modern problems in condensed matter, as well as on the coming era of free electron lasers to disentangle multi-scale dynamics in a variety of systems. We hope to attract prominent researchers across different frontiers of condensed matter to promote recent findings and debates on the future direction of research in the field of strongly correlated electrons systems.
