Montpellier Strong Gravitational Lensing Workshop

Strong gravitational lensing provides a key observational window on the properties of dark matter on the one hand, and cosmology on the other hand. These applications require an accurate modelling of strong-lensing systems. During this workshop, we aim to cover cutting-edge topics in strong gravitational lensing, including: - challenges in lens-mass modelling - line-of-sight corrections and their applications - multi-plane and compound lens systems - sub-halo and line-of-sight halo searches - wave-optics effects. This event will be the third of a bi-annual series of strong-lensing workshops in Montpellier, thereby following the 2022 and 2024 editions. Its general philosophy is: few talks, much work together. The programme will thus be quite light, leaving ample room for formal and informal discussions.
