Smart Sensors and Microsystems for Environment monitoring and Fire Prevention
20-22 mai 2026
University of Toulouse - 118 route de Narbonne IRIT - 120 Cours Rose Dieng-Kuntz - Toulouse (France)
This workshop aims to bring together European stakeholders from academia and industry working on environmental monitoring systems using sensor networks and data management through artificial intelligence processing. These sessions, initiated from the SUDOE SENFORFIRE project and combined with meetings of the IBERNAM-CMC2 clubs, will be dedicated to presenting the latest advances in miniaturized sensors (micro- and nanotechnologies), multisensory devices and systems, intelligent data processing, and network management for environmental monitoring and fire detection. Established structures, research projects, and field measurement campaigns will also be highlighted. Particular attention will be paid to systems deployed as interconnected sensor networks and all the processing methods implemented to meet the objectives of risk analysis and early fire detection.
