Interdisciplinary challenges in the Physics of Complexity and Life 2026
20-24 avr. 2026
Institut d'études scientifiques de Cargèse - Cargèse, Corsica (France)
IntCha is a conference organised by young researchers for young researchers (graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and new group leaders). Its core idea is that interdisciplinary connections built in this critical stage of scientific careers will have a decisive impact on the future directions of science. As such the conference is targeted broadly to young researchers working on the physics of complex and biological systems. IntCha 2026 will be the 7th edition of this meeting, with recent ones having been held in Edinburgh (2022, https://www.physicsoflife.org.uk/physics-of-life-summer-school-2022.html), Rome (2023, https://www.interchall2023.com), Dresden (2024, https://www.pks.mpg.de/intcha24), and Heidelberg (2025, https://www.embl.org/about/info/course-and-conference-office/events/intcha25). Several of the invited speakers of these previous editions later became principal investigators in leading institutes in Europe, showing the success of this conference in identifying and promoting emergent scientists.
