The Paris Institute of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry IP2CT is a joint Sorbonne-University/CNRS research federation. It brings together the scientific activities of three laboratories: LCT, Laboratory of Theoretical Chemistry, LCPMR, Laboratory of Physical Chemistry - Matter and Radiation and MONARIS, MOlécule aux NAnos materials: Reactivity, Interactions and Spectroscopies. Each laboratory having teams in laboratory astrophysics. This 2025 IP2CT meeting is focused on astrochemistry and astrophysics. The event is open to a broad audience of researchers and students working in the field of chemistry-physics. A selection of invited speakers will introduce different aspects of this research area — from the extremely cold conditions of the interstellar medium to the high temperatures found in planetary interiors. The morning session will be dedicated to the physico-chemical processes that govern the formation and evolution of molecular species in the interstellar medium, both in the gas and the icy phases. Recent results from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) will highlight the critical role of the interplay between laboratory astrophysics and astronomical observations. The afternoon session will focus on the study of Solar System bodies — including comets, asteroids, and meteorites — as well as planetary atmospheres and interiors.
