The conference covers experimental, numerical and theoretical aspects of Rayleigh-Bénard convection in the turbulent regime, and the applications of turbulent thermal convection in industrial and geophysical settings. One topical day will be focused more particularly on the interplay between turbulent thermal convection and geophysical processes.
