Second French-German Symposium on Molecular ElectroCatalysis
4-6 févr. 2026
Université Grenoble Alpes - Maison de la Création et de l'Innovation (MaCI) - Grenoble (France)
Electrocatalysis is a key enabling technology in the electrification of the chemical and energy sectors that is expected to accompany the energy transition. Molecular electrocatalysis is already well investigated for the storage or uptake of chemical energy, but is also flourishing in the case of the synthesis of base or fine chemicals. These two approaches are not only united by the nature of the catalytic entities put at stake but also share important matters in terms of methodologies, reactivity, or even reaction steps. The binational symposium will feature a condensed grasp of forefront contributions to highlight the opportunities and challenges in molecular electrocatalysis at the crossroad of synthetic applications and energy conversion.
After the successful first edition organized at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, we are looking forward to welcoming the molecular electrocatalysis community to Grenoble, France.
This symposium will combine talks by cutting-edge speakers and a poster session with networking opportunities.
