International Workshop on Superconductor Semiconductor Hybrids
2-6 févr. 2026
- Villard-de-Lans (France)
Hybrid devices based on superconducting and semiconducting materials are attracting growing interest in the field of quantum circuits due to their potential to replace more conventional tunnel Josephson junction-based components. One of their main advantages lies in the ability to tune junction parameters via an electrostatic gate. Recently, significant results have been achieved in both fundamental research, such as the Josephson diode effect and chiral supercurrent, and quantum applications, including graphene-based or two-dimensional electron gas Josephson amplifiers and gate-tunable superconducting qubits. This workshop aims to bring together international experts in hybrid devices, recognized for their contributions and pedagogical expertise, to present their results in an accessible manner to both the Grenoble and international scientific communities. Three main themes will be covered: (1) Growth and development of materials (2) Quantum devices and their properties (3) Theoretical descriptions of materials and devices The workshop is open to students, early-career researchers, and scientists in the field. Accommodation is included in the registration fees, and a half-day visit to Grenoble laboratories will be organized.
