Bioresources, Biotechnology and Sustainable Development
19-21 juin 2025
UMP, Technopole - Oujda (Maroc)
In a context marked by the challenges of climate change, food security and energy transition, this international conference aims to create a framework for exchanges between researchers, decision-makers, farmers and entrepreneurs, with a view to examining the opportunities and challenges inherent in the development of the agri-food sector through biotechnologies and digital technologies. Particular attention will be paid to current issues, in particular food safety, preservation of water resources, circular economy and environmental protection, with the aim of promoting a strategic and sustainable valorization of bio-resources. This event also aligns with the "Generation Green 2020-2030" strategy, launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in February 2020, to enhance the skills and employability of young Moroccan researchers and entrepreneurs by emphasizing innovation, a cornerstone of the national strategy. By adopting this approach, the region of Oriental and Morocco aim to strengthen the competitiveness of local companies in the global market.
