The ‘Rencontres Autour de la Linguistique Formelle’ (RALFe) are organized annually in a different city in France, offering a platform for the formal theoretical study of phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics and their interfaces. RALFe 2025 is organized by the members of the UMR 'Savoirs, Textes, Langage' (STL) at the University of Lille. The two days of the main conference will be preceded by a one-day workshop ‘Des Langues Pas Si Mortes 3’, which is devoted to the formal grammar of historical languages, primarily from a synchronic (rather than diachronic) perspective.
