Biophysics, molecular organization & regulation of postsynaptic domains

This workshop brings together researchers from various disciplines investigating the biology and biophysics of postsynaptic domains, with a focus on quantitative aspects. The aim is to expand on the current knowledge about excitatory and inhibitory synapse size and its regulation, and to discuss future avenues for an improved quantitative understanding of the underlying mechanisms, ranging from trans-synaptic signaling and receptor and scaffold-protein aggregation to local protein synthesis and regulation.
