Emotions are a major ingredient of human life and, for better or worse, they give it meaning and direction. Over the last two decades, the exploration of emotions has emerged as a prolific field of study in neuroscience and scientific psychology.
By collecting brain imagery, physiological data, behavioral observations, and subjective ratings, scientists an clinicians have developed the ability to measure emotions in a systematic and rigorous way. This paves the way for us to decode the spatial and temporal codes of emotions in the brain.
Thus, you are cordially invited to join us on September 19 and 20, 2024, at the annual meeting of the French Society of Psychophysiology and Cognitive Neuroscience (SPNC). You will have the opportunity to attend lectures given by internationally recognised experts who will present their work on the cerebral and physiological foundations of affective states and their association with adaptation and pathologies. Post-doctoral researchers and doctoral students are also invited to present their work through oral communications and posters.
And of course for lovers of the art of living and the beautiful light of the Flanders plains, welcome to Lille.
