L2 learning motivation research: Towards social action

The aim of the International Seminar ‘L2 learning motivation research: Towards social action' is to turn our gaze on different ways of bringing about positive social change through L2 learning motivation research. It aims to promote collaboration and networking among international researchers interested in L2 motivation and societal impact. We welcome proposals (but not limited to) on the following topics: - L2 learning motivation research as a way to effect positive social change - Language learners and (pre-service) teachers as people-in-context - L2 learning motivation research concerning internal and social-environmental factors shaping motivation and human behaviour. - L2 learning motivation research as a way to break down barriers to learning and educational development
