Speech Rhythms Inside and Outside the Brain

The workshop will focus on the interrelationships between modulatory activity in neurophysiological and behavioral data during speech production/perception. We aim to address few primary questions: 1) How are the oscillatory components of neurophysiological signals linked to oscillatory patterns observed in behavioral data? 2) How are behavioral and neural oscillatory patterns associated with the linguistic content of utterances across distinct levels of description? 3) Which are the implications of different ways of extracting and characterizing the oscillations of interests.
