Abstract. Previous conference on materials and Energies was held in Tamanghasset, Algeria, during September 17-18, 2021. With the experience of running successful events, the Matter Sciences department of the Sciences and Technology Faculty with MERL Research Laboratory on Materials and Energies of Amine Elokkal El Hadj Moussa Eg Akhamouk University of Tamanghasset, is motivated to organize the 2nd International Conference on Materials and Energy (IC-ME'24) which is going to be held during November, 14-15, 2024. The IC-ME Conference provides a forum for the scientific and industrial communities around the world to present their research and to exchange ideas on recent developments in materials sciences, energy conversion technologies and renewable energies, to bring together and create synergy between researchers and industrialists. The IC-ME'24 conference will include contributions by invited speakers, oral presentations and posters sessions. This event also offers space for companies to present their innovative products and services. Tamanghasset is located in Algerian Sahara Desert, from 1,900 km south of Algiers and approximately 400 km in the north of the Malian border; 22° 47′ 13″ North 5° 31′ 38″ East in the Hoggar mountain in Tuareg Idurar.
