SP9 will cover research fields related to the photochemistry and the photophysics of semiconducting materials:solar to electricity conversion, solar to chemical energy conversion (i.e. solar fuels), photothermal catalysis, air and water remediation, photosterilization, functionalized and self cleaning surfaces, organic photosynthesis, new photoactive materials, modelling and mechanistic studies, operando/in-situ characterization, photoreaction engineering, commercial applications and standardization, etc. with fundamental or applied research approach. SP9 continues with the successful series of Semiconductor Photochemistry conferences previously held in Glasgow (2001), Aberdeen (2007), Glasgow (2010), Prague (2013), Saint Petersburg (2015), Oldenburg (2017), Milan (2019), and Strasbourg (2023).
