Solar Pumping Workshop 2024

[EN] It is with great pleasure that EFDS and the GeePs laboratory invite you to participate in the Solar Pumping Workshop 2024. The conference will be online and free. It will take place from 24th to 27th April 2024. The interdisciplinary field work on solar pumping carried out by our community continues. The Solar Pumping Workshop is an opportunity to give voice to researchers, students and entrepreneurs who contribute to the sustainable development of access to drinking water for populations. The talks will cover a wide range of subjects, from the socio-economic optimization of the sizing of solar pumps, to the study of the impact of pumping on the water resources and the detection of cleaning interventions on solar panels. To facilitate communication and exchanges, the conference will be dematerialized. First, the videos will be broadcast on Youtube from January 24th at 9am, allowing you to watch all the presentations (5' or 10' each, with French and English subtitles). Then, two discussion sessions by videoconference will take place on January 25th and 27th, in order to allow you to discuss with the different speakers (1 hour each, simultaneous discussion in French and English).
