GDR NeuralNet, 13th annual meeting, Paris-Saclay

Perception, movement control and memory are emergent properties of complex networks comprising millions of neurons. Measuring the activity of populations of individual neurons is essential to understanding their cooperative behavior within a network. The "NeuralNet" community studies how collective neuronal activity forms the basis of brain function. This effort is particularly important for the treatment of neuropathologies and the development of sensory or motor neuroprostheses.
