Workshop on processing, reactivity and relaxation pathways of nC

WG2 of the NanosSpace COST Actionfocuses on the formation, excitation, relaxation and destruction pathways of nC species along with their chemical reactivity and role in carbon transport throughout space. Input from astronomers concerning the conditions where abundant nC is found will be important for asking the most relevant questions and designing the most appropriate laboratory and facility experimental programmes, bringing together complementary expertise such as source development with cryogenic ion traps and sensitive photon detection or surface science equipment and developing collaborative applications for beamtimes.
