Cesam2k20 Workshop: presentation and usage of the 1st release

In the framework of the preparation of the ESA mission PLATO, the internal structure and stellar evolution code Cesam2k20 have been selected to compute the 1st generation grid of stellar models. The first public version of the code will be made available to the community this year. In order to build up a community of users, we are organising a workshop on 7-8 December 2023 at the Meudon Observatory in the Jules Janssen Conference Centre for 30 people. On the first day, the morning will be dedicated to the presentation of the code and the afternoon to its installation and the calculation of a standard model of the Sun. On the morning of the second day, a case study for the calculation of a non-standard model (including for example rotation or atomic diffusion with radiative accelerations) will be proposed to the participants. Parallel sessions will be organised in the afternoon to learn, for example, how to calculate a grid of stellar models or to learn how to use the AIMS and SPInS model optimisation codes (which can be used with the model grids generated by Cesam2k20).
