The meeting will explore the connections between micro-local analysis, spectral analysis and scattering theory with different applications domains where bound and quasi-bound states play a prominent role. A particular focus will be placed on: Inverse problems and imaging, including numerical methods; Sub-wavelength resonances and their applications to new imaging modalities and meta-material design; Surface-waves, Seismology and the related inverse problems.
The aim is to bring together mathematicians and physicists working on both theoretical and applied problems with the purpose of enhancing communication between the different scientific communities, exploring synergies and developing new research paths.
