1st GdR-MSI Club-Jeune Workshop

The GdR-MSI's Club-Jeune is proud to announce its first Mass Spectrometry Imaging Workshop. The main purpose of this workshop is to deepen the knowledge of all MSI researchers, continue to build a young researcher's community where everybody feels confident to share their work, and above all to promote new collaborations through the sharing of results, experiments and ideas. The workshop will be held in 3 different locations: 1. Laboratoire d'archéologie moléculaire et structurale (LAMS), CNRS et faculté des sciences de Sorbonne Université, Paris 2. Institut de chimie des substances naturelles (ICSN), CNRS, Gif-sur-Yvette 3. Institut de minéralogie, de physique des matériaux et de cosmochimie UMR 7590 - UPMC/CNRS/IRD/MNHN 4. Institut Franco-Chinois Chimie Pékin This workshop is designed for people who want to develop new skills. It is going to be three full unique days with oral communications, open discussions, laboratory visits and experiment demonstrations to show the different applications of MSI, as well as the different equipment's. Furthermore, it is an opportunity to gain even more insight and knowledge in the latest developments and applications in this field. Do not worry, during the afternoon/night, the CJ prepared some fun activities for you to know better the city but also to relax and get to know your colleagues. On the day of your arrival, a welcome reception will be held for all of you. During the next days, you will be able to do a nocturnal visit of the Museum “La Monnaie de Paris” and also a little Paris Rally with some hints for you to explore and discover Paris a bit more.
