This international conference is organized by the RE-DWELL MSCA Innovative Training Network “Delivering affordable and sustainable housing in Europe” (https://www.re-dwell.eu) and the Pacte Social Sciences Research Centre of the University Grenoble Alpes (https://www.pacte-grenoble.fr/en). The aim of the conference is to create a platform for the presentation of research results and for discussions, among and beyond academia, on the potential for transforming conceptions of housing through the integration of multiple actors and disciplines involved in policy, planning, design and construction. We are particularly interested in the ways such transformations allow us to better tackle the challenges brought forward by different crises that affect urban living, among which, first and foremost, declining housing affordability and climate change. The main sub-themes of the conference are: transforming governance, co-creation spaces and processes, new housing solutions and renewed professional practices and knowledge co-creation.
