Basics of Machine Learning for experimental sciences

On 07/12 and 07/13 we are organizing the first days of GS_Chem on the theme of “Machine Learning in Chemistry” in partnership with the DiiP (Data Intelligence Institute of Paris) in order to promote the use of machine learning in chemistry. The objective of the first day is to provide GS students (master and PhD) and post-docs with an overview of the ML methods developed and their use in the main related research fields of chemistry such as biology, health, the environment.... The ambition is not to train specialists in ML but to present the tools and their uses for the analysis of data classically encountered in science (image analysis, statistical data, etc.). The participants will thus be able to understand the interest and limitations of the methods and develop collaborations with specialists in the field.
