27th European Drosophila Research Conference

The EDRC is the main scientific conference for the European fruit fly research community. It takes place every two years in a European city and draws delegates from all over Europe and the rest of the world. The EDRC covers the whole breadth of Drosophila research, from evolution and development through to neurobiology, immunology, metabolism and cancer research. It acts as a major conduit for scientific communication in Europe and has a strong training remit with the majority of platform sessions chosen from the abstracts of early career researchers. After Barcelona (2013), Heidelberg (2015), London (2017), Lausanne (2019), the 27th EDRC meeting in 2021 will take place at the International Convention Center in Lyon, France.
