The Young Researchers Day (JJC) is a yearly congress at the Marine biological station of Roscoff. It is organized by a group of young scientists aimed at the local young scientists (PhD students, post-doc). We are largely sponsored by the local research units and the local enterprises of Roscoff. Our aim is to have an opportunity for young scientists to present their work through different formats: talks, posters, flash presentations. For each type of presentation, there will be a price given to the most outstanding. In addition to the presentations of our local young researchers, we invite inspiring scientists and teachers, who will do us the honour of sharing their expertise. This year, the topic is Environmental Ethic. Idea of this year's conference is to discuss participant's research projects with the special emphasis on their significance for the environment, expanding knowledge on how to preserve the environment, and promoting awareness on this important topic. Participants will be strongly encouraged to indicate in their conclusions how their findings are in agreement with environmental ethics, or to give their opinion on what can be done in future to respond different aspects of it. This year topic will not only allow us to discuss environmental ethics, but also to expand this topic and discuss ego and ethics in science during our "Table ronde" which will take place on the 2nd day of the conference.
